Guidelines; Fashion.

Although part of this blog will be me posting clothes that I love and want to share, I think it’s important to remember to find your own individual style. The whole point of this blog is to encourage people to be themselves and that includes fashion. Fashion is one of the most powerful ways to express yourself so make sure you use it!

Beauty guru, Lauren Curtis, once said something about make up that can also be applied to fashion. She said that there are no rules in make up, only guidelines. If you are game enough to step outside of the guidelines then go for it. Fashion trends are the same. They are simply guidelines.

The other day, my sister and I walked out of our rooms wearing the exact same shoes. This happens a lot living in a household of three girls all with similar style. Automatically we both saw the problem, one of us would have to change shoes. Her argument was her shoes went better with her outfit than mine. Why not go out wearing the same shoes? Who says that the shoes go better with her outfit than mine?

Wear whatever you want. Step outside of the guidelines. Be game.
